
The highlight of the past week in mobile technology was surely the launch of T-Mobile's G1. Though this happened in the US and is meant for that particular operator only, the fact that it's a Google Android phoneindicates that this platform is ready for public consumption.
Being the newest kid on the block, we expect Android to suffer some hiccups along the way. But don't dismiss it even if that happens because it is backed by Google the giant. I'm sure the company's engineers are still working to make it better even as we speak.
